BSTI Application Submission Conditions:

Age Limit : a) 07-08-2023 AD. Maximum age limit of applicant is 30 years on date.
b) Maximum age limit of freedom fighters and disabled quota applicants is relaxable up to 32 (thirty two) years.
Candidates can apply for any one post.

The applicant should mention his latest educational qualification in the application. In case of married female candidates husband’s permanent address should be used as permanent address.

Nationality: a) Candidate must be a citizen of Bangladesh.
b) Any candidate who has married or promised to marry a foreign national without the prior permission of the Government shall be considered ineligible to apply.

Candidates serving in Government, Semi-Government and Autonomous Organizations must apply with permission from appropriate authority and produce the copy of permission at the time of oral examination.

Candidates who qualify in the written test have to submit additional 01 (one) set of attested photocopies of all the certificates along with the original copies at the time of the oral test. The list of documents to be submitted/submitted is as follows:

A) Online filled application form/Applicants Copy and Admit Card
b) All educational qualifications and experience certificates
c) 2 copies of passport size attested photographs.
d) No objection letter issued by appropriate authority in case of candidates working in Government, Semi-Government and Autonomous Institutions.
e) Citizenship certificate issued by the Chairman of the Union Parishad/Municipal Mayor/Ward Councilor of the City Corporation as proof of permanent resident of the district;

f) National Identity Card/Birth Registration Certificate;
g) Character certificate issued by a gazetted officer of the first class.
h) Certificate of respective quota of freedom fighters and disabled quota applicants.
j) If a candidate claims that any degree acquired by him from abroad is equivalent to any of the educational qualifications mentioned beside the above posts, he must submit the original and attested copy of the equivalence certificate issued by the concerned Equivalence Committee to the interview board at the time of oral examination.

If any information or documents submitted by the candidate is found to be fake, false or inconsistent with the minimum conditions required in the notification, if proven false or if the examination is faked or misrepresented, the candidature of the concerned candidate will be canceled and appropriate legal action will be taken against him. The authority reserves the right to take necessary legal action including cancellation of the candidature of any candidate who has passed the examination during the examination or at any time thereafter if wrong information/fake documents are produced.

The written test schedule will also be informed through SMS on the mobile number mentioned in the candidate’s application.

Candidates will not be given any TA/DA for appearing in written and oral examination. A candidate who has been convicted of any charge by a criminal court or has been dismissed from the service of any Government or Autonomous Institution or Local Authority and two years have not elapsed since such dismissal will not be considered eligible to apply. However, if the application is kept confidential, legal action will be taken as per the rules.

In case of name, date of birth and other errors in the application form, there will be no possibility of correction at a later date and the candidature will be canceled due to the error.
Recruitment will be followed as per the existing rules and regulations of the Govt and the amended rules as applicable. The authority reserves the right to reduce/increase/cancel the number of posts or make any changes in recruitment as per rules.
At the time of the examination, you must follow the hygiene rules at the examination center and participate in the examination.
The decision of the appointing authority shall be final in all matters relating to recruitment.

Rules and Dos for BSTI Online Application Form Filling:

Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution BSTI Job Circular 2023. Interested candidates have to fill the application form at http://bsti.teletalk.com.bd website. Starting date and time for online application form filling and application fee submission: 07-08-2023 AD. Around 10:00 am. Last Date and Time for Filling Online Application Form: 05-09-2023, PM: 05:00 PM.

Candidates who have received User Id within the said period will submit the examination fee via SMS within 72 (seventy two) hours from the time of submission of application form online. In the online application form, the candidate will scan his colored photograph (length 300 × width 300) pixels and signature (length 300 × width 80) pixels and upload it to the designated place. Photo size should be maximum 100kb and signature size should be maximum 60kb.

Since the information filled in the online application will be used in all the subsequent activities, the candidate himself will be 100% sure about the correctness of all the information filled before submitting the application form online.
The candidate shall keep a print copy of the online filled application form as an aid for any examination related need and submit one copy during the oral examination.

BSTI Online Application Rules and Exam Fee Payment:

Online application rules and payment of examination fee: Fill the application form online properly and upload the photo and signature as per the instruction. If any information is wrong in the Applicant’s Copy or the image is unclear (full black/full white/blurred/rubbed off) or the photo/signature is not correct then only re-apply (web) can be done without depositing the application fee.

Note that no further changes/amendments/enhancements are acceptable after the submission of the application fee. Therefore, before submitting the application fee, the candidate must print the applicant’s copy of his/her recent color photograph, accurate information and signature attached and confirm its correctness by downloading and printing the PDF copy. save

A User ID will be given in the Applicant’s Copy and using the User ID the candidate can send 02 (two) SMS through any Teletalk pre-paid mobile number in the following manner for examination fee of Tk. 600.00 and online fee for the mentioned posts of Serial No. 1-10. Rs.67.00 non-refundable i.e. total Rs.667.00 and Rs.500.00 for exam fee and online fee Rs.56.00 non-refundable i.e. total Rs.556.00 for the mentioned posts of serial no. will give

It is specially noted here that even if all parts of the application form are submitted online, the online application form will not be accepted in any case until the application fee is submitted.

BSTI Application Fee Payment and SMS Sending Rules:

First SMS: Send BSTI User ID to 16222. Example: BSTI ABCDEF Reply: Applicant’s Name, Tk. 667/556 will be charged as application fee.
Your PIN is XXXXXXXXXXXX. To pay fee Type BSTI Yes PIN and send to 16222

Second SMS: Type BSTI Yes PIN and send to 16222. Example: BSTI Yes XXXXXXXXX Reply: Congratulations Applicant’s Name, Payment completed successfully for BSTI Application for post XXXXXXXX User ID is (ABCDEF) and Password (XXXXX).

After sending the second SMS by the candidate he will get the password in the return SMS. Candidate must save this Password, Admit Card Download.

Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution BSTI Job Circular 2023 Admit card

Receipt of admit card will be intimated in due course on website http://bsti.teletalk.com.bd or BSTI office website: www.bsti.gov.bd and through SMS on candidate’s mobile phone (only eligible candidates). All communication related to the examination will be done on the mobile phone provided by the candidate in the online application form, so it is recommended to keep the number active at all times, read the SMS and follow the instructions received immediately.

After using the User ID and Password sent in the SMS, the candidate will download and print (if possible colored) the admit card containing the information such as roll number, post name, photo, exam date, time and center name etc. Candidates must produce this admit card at the time of appearing in the written test and at the time of appearing in the oral test if they pass the written test.
