Special Instructions:

The number of vacancies advertised may change due to new recruitment, termination, promotion, retirement, death, resignation or removal etc.

Equivalence Certificate: If a candidate does not have the prescribed educational qualification for the advertised cadre posts then the candidate cannot apply. Any candidate who has obtained any degree from abroad is notified by B..CS. In case of claiming equivalence of educational qualification applicable to cadre posts, the candidate has to submit the attested copy of equivalence certificate to the oral examination board.

Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council for Equivalency Certificate for Medical Degree Holders, D.V.M. Degree holders are advised to contact the Veterinary Council and other degree holders with the Ministry of Education/University Grants Commission. The original copy of the said equivalence certificate must be presented to the oral examination board, otherwise the oral examination will not be accepted.

Eligibility of Landed Candidates:

If a candidate has appeared for an examination which, on passing the examination, he/she will be placed in the 46th B.C.S. will be eligible to participate in the examination-2023 and if his result of that examination B.C.S. Even if the last date of submission of application form (online registration) of examination-2023 is not published, he can apply online as a candidate. But it will be accepted temporarily. Only those candidates will be considered as candidates whose graduation is 46th B.C.S. By the last date of receipt of examination application form i.e. ends.

46th BCS Online Time for Filling Application Form (BPSC Form-1) for Exam-2023 and Depositing Exam Fee:

Date and Time of Application Form Filling and Fee Submission: 10.12.2023, 10.00 AM.

Last date and time for submission of application form: 31.12.2023, 6.00 pm.

Last date of submission of application form i.e. 31.12.2023, 6.00 PM Only candidates who have received User ID within 72 hours after that time (i.e. 03.01.2024, up to 6.00 PM), within the period (12 of notification .following the instructions in paragraph no.0) can deposit the fee. No application will be accepted before or after the prescribed date and time.

Candidates have to complete the fee deposit within the time specified in the Applicant’s Copy (ie 72 hours). There is an opportunity to amend the application form before submitting the fee. Check the print copy of the application and submit the fee. No further amendment will be allowed after submission of fee. It is advised to apply with sufficient time instead of waiting for the last date and time for application.

46th BCS Job Circular 2023 Age limit:

Sons and daughters of freedom fighters/martyred freedom fighters, disabled candidates and B.C.S. Age 21 to 30 years (Date of Birth: between 02.11.2002 to 02.11.1993) for all cadre candidates except (Health) Cadre candidates.

Sons and daughters of freedom fighters/martyred freedom fighters, disabled candidates and BCS. (Health) Cadre Age 21 to 32 years (Date of Birth: between 02.11.2002 to 02.11.1991).

B.C.S. (General Education) and B.C.S. Age 21 to 32 years (Date of Birth: between 02.11.2002 to 02.11.1991) in case of minority ethnic group candidates only for (Technical Education) Cadre.
Application form will not be accepted if the candidate is under or over age.

How to Fill Online Application Form (46th BCS):

Teletalk BD Ltd. to the candidate. Web Address: http://bpsc.teletalk.com.bd or Bangladesh Public Works Commission Web Address: www.bpsc.gov.bd Online registration by filling the online application form (BPSC Form-1) prescribed by the commission within the prescribed time. Activities and fee submissions must be completed.

46th B.C.S. Exam-2023 notification, detailed instructions to fill online application form and prescribed BPSC Form-1 will be visible. 46th BCS Regarding Filling Online Application Form (BPSC From-1) Detailed instructions related to online filling of application form (BPSC Form-1) of examination-2023, submission of ‘fee’ through sms and receipt of Admit Card will be given. Before filling the online form, the candidate should download the instruction section and read each instruction thoroughly.

There are 3 categories of Application Form based on Cadre preference viz:
(I) Application Form for General Cadres;
(II) Application Form for Technical/Professional Cadres;
(III) Application Form for General and Technical / Professional (both) Cadres.
If the candidate wants to be a candidate of General Cadre only, the application form of General Cadre will be visible if he wants to be a candidate of Professional Cadre by clicking on the Application form part of General Cadre.

Similarly, clicking on the section prescribed for General and Technical / Both Cadre will display the application form of Both Cadre. When the desired BCS Application Form is visible to the candidate, each subject of the form should be filled as per the given instructions.

BCS Application Form has 3 parts : (I) Part-1: Personal Information; (II) Part-2: Academic Qualification; (III) Part – 3: Cadre Option. It should be noted that the detailed instructions for filling the BCS Application Form and the information/instructions given in each field of the BCS Application Form must be followed.

Candidates will not have an opportunity to correct any incorrect information at any stage after submission of the online application for verification in paragraph 2.4.

Photo Upload:

Application Preview can be seen after successful completion of Part-1, Part-2 and Part-3 of BPSC Form-1 At the specified place of Preview, the candidate has to upload a color photograph of not less than 300×300 (length x width) pixels and file size not more than 100 KB, taken not more than three months ago.

Note that black and white photos will not be accepted. If the photograph is not printed on the applicant’s copy, the application will be rejected. Photos with sunglasses will not be accepted. Click on Help Menu on Home Page to get detailed instructions about Photo and Signature.

Upload Signature:

Not less than or more than 300 x 80 (Length x Width) pixels and File Size not more than 60 KB is acceptable in the space provided for signature in Application Preview, Candidates have to upload their own signature of such size. If the signature is not printed on the applicant’s copy, the application will be rejected.

Payment of examination fee as per provision of Rule 9(4)(a)(b) of Bangladesh Civil Service (Age, Qualification and Examination for Direct Recruitment) Rules, 2014:

After filling the BPSC Form-1 properly and uploading the photo and signature as per the instructions, the completed Application Preview can be seen. After submitting the application form accurately, the candidate will get an Applicant’s Copy online with a User ID along with photo and signature.

Candidate’s photograph and signature must be properly visible on Application Preview and Applicant’s Copy. Teletalk BD Ltd. using User ID. Following the instructions received through sms, the candidates can send sms through any Teletalk Pre-paid Mobile Number in the following manner as per Rule 9 (4) (a) of Bangladesh Civil Service (Age, Qualification and Examination for Direct Recruitment) Rules, 2014. B.C.S. You can deposit 700/- (Seven Hundred) rupees for exam-2023 fee.

According to the provisions of Rule 9(4)(b) of the same rules candidates belonging to minority groups, disabled and candidates of third gender shall deposit Rs.100/- (one hundred) towards the examination fee. It should be noted that any candidate who is not a minority/disabled/third gender candidate and fills the form with a fee of Tk 100/- (One Hundred) will be cancelled. Candidates are advised to be careful in this regard.

Applicant’s Name, Tk-700 (Tk-100 for Physically Disabled, Ethnic Minority Group and Third Gender Group Candidates) will be charged as Application Fee. Your PIN is (8 digit number) 12345678. To Pay Fee, type BCS <Space> Yes <Space> PIN and send to 16222.

46th BCS Admit Card

46th BCS Admit Card. As per the instructions of paragraph 12.0 of the notification, if the prescribed examination fee is paid, the candidate will be able to download and collect the admit card containing the registration number automatically prepared on the basis of selection using the User ID and Password received in the sms message sent from Teletalk from February 15, 2024. The download of admit card will be informed in due time through sms message through teletalk.
